Committees and Chapters

Committees

OSCPA committees bring together members to guide initiatives, provide expertise, and help advance the profession. Each committee focuses on a specific area, from technical accounting issues to leadership and emerging professionals. Committees provide a forum to learn from peers, influence initiatives, and ensure the profession’s needs are represented.

By joining a committee, you become part of a collaborative network that helps shape resources, programs, and advocacy for Oregon CPAs.

What Committees Do:

  • Advise on issues, standards, and professional practice.
  • Support member growth through education, networking and knowledge-sharing.
  • Develop events, resources, and programs for OSCPA members.
  • Provide input on legislation and emerging issues.

Who Can Join:

Committees are open to OSCPA members whether you’re a student, CPA Candidate, an emerging professional, or an experienced CPA. Each committee benefits from a mix of perspectives, and your voice can add value regardless of where you are in your career.

Get Involved:
Joining a committee is a flexible way to engage with your profession. Most project committees meet a few times a year, either virtually or in person, with time commitments designed to fit into a busy schedule.

Explore committees below that match your interests, sign up, and start building connections while making a difference for Oregon CPAs.

Chapters

OSCPA chapters connect members within their local communities, providing opportunities to network, share knowledge, and engage with the profession close to home. Chapters host events, foster professional relationships, and create a space where members can support one another. By getting involved in your chapter, you’ll strengthen connections in your area while contributing to the vitality of the CPA community across Oregon.
