Update: OSCPA Group Health Trust Insurance Programs experiencing significant changes

8-28-26 Update: As many of you are aware, the current health insurance environment in Oregon is experiencing significant changes. A few months ago, Providence Health Plans announced their exit from the market, which means that all employers insured by Providence will need to find a new carrier in 2027. Additionally, Moda Health just announced that they are terminating all state-filed ACA small group plans at the end of February 2027. The exit of two large insurers from the state-filed market creates volatility and uncertainty.
While carrier options are shrinking, we are pleased to share that the OSCPA Group Health Trust will be moving to Regence BlueCross BlueShield effective January 1, 2027. Regence was selected based on many factors, but two primary reasons are their size and stability. We are currently in the process of finalizing all plans for 2027 and will be prepared to provide proposals to all eligible member firms no later than October 2026.
