Dahlia Hanson Awarded UWorld CPA Exam Review Scholarship

Dahlia Hanson is the latest winner in our series of 5 exam review course drawings offered to OSCPA members this year. UWorld furnished this prize. With a value of $3,899, the scholarship will prove hugely impactful as Dahlia prepares for her CPA journey.

Dahlia Hanson is an Oregon native and accounting student at Portland Community College who is passionate about combining financial stewardship and public service. She plans to pursue her CPA license and hopes to eventually work for the State of Oregon or the City of Portland in transportation budgeting, infrastructure planning, or public finance. 

Dahlia is especially interested in how thoughtful budgeting and long-term financial planning can help communities thrive. What draws Dahlia to accounting is the balance of analytical thinking, organization, and real-world impact. She enjoys learning how financial systems support large-scale projects and public services. Receiving support for CPA exam preparation is incredibly meaningful to Dahlia as she continues her education and works toward entering the accounting profession. She is grateful for the opportunity to strengthen her skills and prepare for her future.
