Congratulations to Dachelle Hattan, Surgent CPA Review course winner

Dachelle Hattan is a Staff Accountant with Downing & Company. She graduated on March 25, 2023, with a B.S in Accounting from Portland State University. She decided to major in accounting because she enjoys numbers, bookkeeping and problem solving. Dachelle graduated with 225 quarter credits, making her eligible to sit for the CPA exam. Her career goal is to specialize in tax continuing her career at Downing & Company. Dachelle is excited to continue the journey of becoming a CPA with help from the Surgent CPA review course.

Right after graduation, Dachelle retired from the Oregon Air National Guard, where she had spent the last part of her 20-year military career working as a Munitions Accountable Systems Officer. Outside of working as a Staff Accountant, Dachelle enjoys riding her horse Flash and spending time with her amazing husband and amazing three-year-old daughter. They enjoy visiting farmers markets and exploring all sorts of outdoor adventures in Oregon and Washington. Dachelle likes to focus on the moment and enjoy being around family and loved ones.
