Strategic Leadership Forum/Annual Meeting
The Strategic Leadership Forum gives the OSCPA leadership a chance to meet at the beginning of the new fiscal year where they have an opportunity to learn about resources available, issues to be addressed in the upcoming year, and projects completed from the previous year. The annual meeting is also held during the forum. All members are welcome to attend the annual meeting.
Professional Issues Update
Held each fall, the OSCPA Professional Issues Update gives members a chance to get up to date on issues concerning the profession locally, nationally and internationally, and earn CPE in the process. The Update is held live and webcast for viewing remotely.
Circle of Excellence
The Society honors top accounting students, top scorers on the CPA Exam, and The OSCPA Educational Foundation Scholarship recipients. Professors and businesses who support these individuals also attend the annual dinner and award presentation, held in the spring each year.
Young Professionals Networking Events
Have fun and make new acquaintances at these events designed for CPAs that have been in the profession for seven years or less. Previous events have been held at such locations as local sporting events, wineries and brew pubs, or have been hosted by firms.
Career Showcase
The OSCPA Career Showcase, held every fall, gives students, firms, industry organizations, colleges, and universities a chance to meet in one place. The expo-style event provides students with the opportunity to meet freely with employers.
