Experience
Appraisals – Laura has 10 years of experience performing business appraisals. Every assignment is a unique, synergistic combination of management, economics, finance, operational performance, sales and business law.
Business Turnaround – Laura stepped in as active manager and Interim President to turn around a company with $20 million in annual sales. Within one year, Laura and her team fully paid all debtholders (without any bankruptcy protection) and sold the business for a profit.
Mergers & Acquisitions – Laura spent several years assisting business owners and buyers as a transition consultant helping get the deal past egos and misunderstandings. Her ability to work with clients in a high stress environment while coordinating with attorneys and CPAs brought value to the process of business transitions.
Management Consulting – Laura and her father, Ed Lemco, led management peer groups for many years. Ed developed a unique monthly report that was a composite of financial and operational reports that enabled clients to assess their performance in light of past performance and group benchmarks. Quarterly meetings gave everyone “time in the box” to share their situation, speak to their numbers and get timely, real-world advice from the moderators and peers. Being held accountable to regular reporting, sharing with peers and keeping implementation commitments enabled business owners to work strategically and effectively instead of being in “The Swirl.”
Sales – Laura believes that sales is the lifeblood of any business. She has experienced the sales process as an opportunity to connect people with the best solutions to meet their needs and wants.
Sales Training –Laura enjoys training people to use proven sales processes and understand the importance of sales for the business and for their own lives. Using an effective sales process is a transferable skill people can use their whole lives.
