Description

Before you start using all of the PowerBI tools, you first need to understand the data analysis tools available in Microsoft Excel. This webcast introduces you to the relevant Excel data analysis tools and focuses on what you can do with your data once it is in Excel. You will learn how to use various techniques to cleanse your data by removing errors, validating and standardizing data. We will also cover basic data analysis features like sorting, subtotaling, database functions and math functions. This will provide you with the foundation you need for using Pivot Tables to analyze data. This webcast is not meant to be a step-by-step guide on creating and using PivotTables, but rather our focus is on how and why you should use PivotTables as a foundation for using PowerBI tools.
