Governmental Accounting & Auditing

Objective

The Governmental Accounting & Auditing Strategic Committee has two primary focuses:

  1. Inform members about current developments in Governmental Accounting & Auditing; disseminate information to the membership through the Society magazine, website, and annual conference; review and comment on proposed legislation; review and comment on exposure drafts.
  2. Develop programming for the Governmental Accounting & Auditing Conference that representsĀ a variety of member interests and professional practice. Conference committees identify topics pertinent to the CPA profession and select speakers for OSCPA conferences. They collaborate with OSCPA management in the overall production and delivery of OSCPA conference programming. Committee members enjoy getting acquainted and interacting with regionally and nationally recognized experts.

Visit Volunteer Meetings for upcoming meetings.

OSCPA committee members meet to discuss programs, projects, events, etc. relating to the Governmental Accounting & Auditing Strategic Committee. Meeting notices are emailed approximately two weeks prior to scheduled meetings.
