Salary: $75,551.00 - $105,042.00 annually

Metro is looking for a budget/finance professional to work in our Finance and Regulatory Services (FRS) department. The individual in this position will work on a variety of complex budget and financial planning projects including Cost Allocation and Capital Improvement Plans, five year forecasts, annual budgets and various other financial planning projects. The position collaborates with other FRS staff as well as Financial Planning staff embedded in departments across the agency. The person will report to and provide support to the Financial Planning Manager.

Metro is the regional government agency that provides services for three counties, twenty-four cities and 1.5 million residents in the Portland metropolitan area. The services and facilities provided by Metro include transportation planning, growth management, solid waste system management and recycling services, regional parks and natural areas, the Oregon Convention Center, the Oregon Zoo, Portland'5 Centers for the Arts and the Portland Expo Center. Metro's FY 2018/19 Adopted Budget includes 16 funds and total resources and requirements of over $669 million.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Five years of governmental budgeting or accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Public Administration or any combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the job.
