Online CPE

The OSCPA partners with the Accounting CPE Network (ACPEN) and over 34 State CPA Societies to bring you great topics and speakers to view all from the convenience of your own desk. These online CPE courses are broadcast live, comply with NASBA CPE standards, and feature a video of the speaker, slides of their presentation, links to download any written materials, and a forum to post questions and comments. Replays with Q&A opportunity, designed to comply with NASBA QAS rules for self-study, also are available. New programs are added throughout the year.

Please note: The login and signup process for Webcasts is separate from your OSCPA Web site login. Webcast secure login and signup is completed through our partner ACPEN. Attendance at each session is limited so register early! If you attempt to register and there is a “sold out” notice, we encourage you to try another session.

NASBA QAS Approval Required for Self-Study CPE Credit

The Oregon Board of Accountancy Administrative Rules require that all self-study CPE courses for Oregon licensees must be taken from National Association of State Board of Accountancy Quality Assurance Service (NASBA QAS) approved sponsors.

You need to be aware of the following:

• Only self-study courses approved by the NASBA QAS program are eligible for self-study CPE credit.
• Credit for NASBA QAS approved self-study programs is eligible for credit in an amount equal to the average completion time recommended by the sponsor.
• If you have questions regarding NASBA QAS sponsors and their classes, refer to www.nasba.org, locate CPE and QAS CPE sponsors. Note that occasionally some QAS sponsors may have limitations on which of their programs specifically qualify.
• For a complete listing of the Oregon Board of Accountancy Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), refer to the CPE Administrative Rules and Municipal Roster CPE Administrative Rules.
