The Speakers Bureau

The Speakers Bureau puts volunteer members in high school and community college classrooms throughout the state to talk about the accounting profession and encourage students to pursue a career in accounting. The OSCPA connects members with schools in their area who request speakers.

Circle of Excellence

Circle of Excellence is an annual awards program where the OSCPA honors individuals at each stage of their accounting career—from high school to college to newly certified CPAs. Learn more

Career Showcase

The OSCPA Career Showcase is held in the fall and gives students a chance to meet with representatives from public accounting, government, and industry for potential internships or employment. Firms benefit from the event by meeting motivated accounting students who would be assets to their organizations. Learn more

Networking Events

Throughout the year the OSCPA sponsors a variety of networking events that provide an opportunity for students and emerging professionals to mix and mingle. These events include the Portland Brown Bag series, the annual winter networking event and a variety of other social get-togethers. It’s a great way for up-and-coming professionals to meet peers in a low-key atmosphere. Learn more
