| There are many advantages to being a member of the OSCPA. An important one is the ability to participate in an insurance program specifically designed for OSCPA members, their employees and dependents. Below is a brief description of benefit programs available, and the eligibility for each program. |

| PacificSource Health Plans is the insurance carrier for the OSCPA. |
| Coverage is available to member CPAs and the employees/dependents of sole practitioners or professional corporations engaged in the practice of public accounting or related financial services. All eligible employees of a firm must be covered under the plan. Eligible employees are defined as an employee who is regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours per week, year round. This includes managing partners and/or owners; it does not include temporary or seasonal employees hired to work during peak activity periods only. |

| The medical options available to OSCPA members in 2008 include four PPO plans, including one Health Savings Account (HSA) option. Following are some of the highlights of the 2008 plans: |
- Freedom to use any doctor, with enhanced benefits for in-network providers
- Deductible waived on in-network office visits and preventive care
- First-dollar retail and mail order prescription drug benefits on non-HSA plans

Health Savings Account (HSA) |
|
|
The HSA plan offers the following benefits:
- Considerably less expensive than traditional PPO options
- Dual choice available to firms with at least 5 participants on each plan
- Deductible waived for preventive care
- The plan pays 80% prescription drug benefit after combined medical/Rx deductible has been met.

Early Retiree Medical Plan |
|
|
If you are retired, under age of 65, and not yet eligible for Medicare, you and your enrolled dependents may be eligible to continue coverage under the contract if any of the following conditions are met:
- You are 55 years of age and have been continuously enrolled under the association’s or PacificSource coverage for at least ten years; OR
- You are 60 years of age and have been continuously enrolled under the association’s or PacificSource coverage for at least five years.
- Those already covered under the OSCPA early retiree plan prior to OSCPA moving to PacificSource will be grandfathered into the policy as though they met one of the above requirements.

Self-Service Online Enrollment System |

This technology solution provides participants with a wealth of options, from reviewing plan options to printing confirmation statements to enrolling in the benefit plan.
Participants can easily access the system from home, the office, or anywhere they have access to an internet browser to obtain benefit information.

Section 125 Plan |
|
| The Section 125 plan can save tax dollars for both the employee and employer. The OSCPA sponsored Section 125 administrative service features discounted fees for CPAs and their employees, clients of eligible OSCPA firms, and private industry companies employing OSCPA members. |

Life Insurance |
|
| Individual Life insurance is available to OSCPA members, their spouses and dependents. |
|
|
|
|
Disability Income Insurance |
|
| Group Long Term Disability coverage is available to member OSCPA firms of 2 or more employees. Individual disability insurance is available to OSCPA members and their employees. |
