Can’t attend CPE in person? The OSCPA offers many challenging Self-Study courses from the AICPA and Surgent & Associates, LLC. Looking for Professional Conduct & Ethics – try Rigos Professional Education Programs, Ltd. These vendors offer a wide variety of Self-Study materials for CPAs in nearly every field of expertise. The programs are designed for use outside of the classroom and may help fill a portion of your CPE needs. The Oregon Society of CPAs has partnered with the Accounting CPE Network (ACPEN) to bring you great topics and speakers all from the convenience of your own desk.

These online CPE courses, commonly called “webcasts” or “webinars”, are broadcast live, comply with NASBA CPE standards, feature a video of the speaker, slides of their presentation, links to download any written materials and a forum to post questions and comments.

Please note: The login and signup process for the webcasts is separate from your OSCPA web site login. Webcast secure login and signup is completed through ACPEN and their support organizations CPA Learn and Legal Span.

Attendance at each session is limited by available bandwidth. If you attempt to register and there is a “sold out” notice, we encourage your to try another session.

  • C - Group Study: Provides participant manuals and discussion leader * Vendor provides discussion leader * You provide travel expense reimbursement
  • D - Self Study: Several vendors provide a variety of self study formats, including text, CDs, workbooks, online, and webcasts, Self-study works in group settings too! (Small firms / companies may wish to use Self-Study products as In-House group study.)

How to Order In-House CPE:

  • Step 1: Your CPE objectives and goals should be clearly defined. What topics are you interested in (accounting and auditing, taxation, practice management, advisory services, personal development or specialized knowledge)?
