NASBA QAS Approval Required for Self-Study CPE Credit

The Oregon Board of Accountancy Administrative Rules require that all self-study CPE courses for Oregon licensees must be from National Association of State Board of Accountancy Quality Assurance Service (NASBA QAS) approved sponsors.

You need to be aware of the following:

  • Only self-study courses approved by the NASBA QAS program.
  • Credit for NASBA QAS approved self-study programs, is eligible for credit in an amount equal to the average completion time recommended by the Sponsor.
  • The effective date is now in effect for even-numbered and odd-numbered licensees.
  • For a complete listing of the CPE OARs refer to the Oregon Board of Accountancy Administrative Rules.

The OSCPA only offers Self-Study products from QAS approved providers. For a list of OSCPA Self-Study sponsors refer to OSCPA Self-Study details.
